Small Head 29 cm (SH1/WS2)

Hand-built, high-fired stoneware, using a combination of clays. This piece uses two different coloured clay bodies – buff and terracotta – with porcelain additions to the surface. Its colour, form and texture draws strongly on coastal landscape in winter – a place where sea and land play their parts in a dramatic relationship.
